Integrating with Slack

We love Slack. To make it easier for your team to stay on top of your knowledge base, you can connect your Spaces and Groups on YellowAnt with your Spaces and Groups on Slack using Slack's Webhooks.

This integration will push newly created posts onto your configured Slack channel.

Note: This integration will not push new Votes or Comments

Steps to integrate YellowAnt with Slack

  1. Go to your Slack Channel/Group/Private Message page

  2. Select the Channel/Group dropdown and click on Add a service Integration

  3. Scroll down to DIY Integrations & Customizations and select Incoming Webhooks

  4. Select Channel/Group/Private Message you want to hook and click on Add Incoming Webhooks Integration

  5. Copy the Webhook URL

  6. Go to your YellowAnt Space/Group page you want to Integrate

  7. Click on Group/Space Info

  8. Click on Add Integrations

  9. Under Slack Integration, Paste the Webhook URL(copied before) into the Webhook URL box

  10. Click on Off to turn on the Integration

Your Space/Group is now integrated with your Slack application.
