Getting started for Slack users
We love Slack! And YellowAnt goes great with Slack!
YellowAnt lets you easily build and maintain your team's knowledge base on top of your Slack application.
You can now integrate YellowAnt with your Slack Team Application through Webhooks. A YellowAnt Space or Group can be integrated with multiple Groups/Spaces on Slack. You will be notified on Slack(Channel/Group where the Webhook links to) when users post anything on a YellowAnt Group or Space. This way you can make sure that the important things shared by your team are all in one place, and easily accessible.
Register with Slack
This page will take you through how to Login with your Slack account and register your team.
Important:
If you are using YellowAnt for a Slack team or community, please make sure you have consent of your Slack Team Administrators and all the Slack team members before Signing in for the first time.
Registration of Slack Team
Click here to Login with Slack and Authorize the YellowAnt App.
If you are the first user from your Slack team to Login, YellowAnt will automatically create profiles for your Slack team members and the Primary Owner of your Slack Team will be the Administrator of the YellowAnt team account. When other team members Login with their Slack account, they can take complete ownership of their YellowAnt account. You can transfer Administrator rights of your YellowAnt team account to another user by going to the Administrator Page and click on Make Administrator next to the user. YellowAnt will send invitation emails to your Slack team members automatically.
Inviting your Team Members on YellowAnt, who are not in your Slack team:
After registering your Slack team, you can go to the Administrator Page(if you are the administrator) and invite other team members who are not on your Slack team.
Click on Invite a Team Member and enter the Email Address of your Team Member and click on "Send Invite". An email with the registration link will be sent to your team member. They will be visible on your team page after they have registered.
